When was your method first introduced?

It is believed Argo & Company came up with the idea of using terry cloth pads for the purpose of carpet cleaning in 1974. Argo first started by producing ArgoSheen in the 40's, using cotton rug mops in the 50's, moved onto bonnets in the 60's, and finally in the 80's produced an rotary machine of their own.

What sparked the idea to develop this method?

Argo was thought of as "surface cleaners” for years. It wasn’t until companies started using this method to aid in cleaning commercial carpet that they realized its true potential. Argo found their method put a stop to difficult reappearing stains and they began to understand just how deep the method cleaned. The results they achieved and the comments from Argos customers drove them to perfect and enhance this method further.

How does your system work?

We begin by vacuuming the carpet. Next we spray a non-toxic product on the fibers. We place heavy-duty cotton pads on the carpet and follow this with our agitating floor machine atop. The cotton pads pick up the soil. Multiple pads are used to complete a thorough deep cleaning of the carpet. Carpet is groomed after. In approximately an hour, the carpet is ready to use.

 What type of cleaning solution does Sparkle use?

We use a self-carbonating solution. It is non-toxic and safe for children and pets. Our cleaner does not resort to the use of ammonia, detergent, surfactants, solvents, soaps or brighteners to effect proper cleaning. There are NO additives in our product.

Carbonation

Our carbonated cleaner works to penetrate deep into the base of the carpet fibers.The carbonated bubbles work to emulsify the dirt and pull it to the carpet's surface. Minerals in the cleaning solution work together to result in the ultimate spa treatment.

Agitation
Have you ever washed your car at a no touch car wash?  As you know, once the car dries, the dirt is still visable. The same principle applies to carpet cleaning. We believe you need to scrub to fully remove dirt and residue. The circular motion vibrates particulate matter to the surface that has been held down in the pile by the matting of the carpet.

Elimination
We use the low moisture technique to eliminate residue and speed the drying process. After the dirt is eliminated from the carpet, you are left with a healthy, clean, fresh smelling scent, ridding your carpet of odors and grime.

Our service includes locations east of 423/FM 720, west of Central Expressway (Hwy 75) and north of George Bush (SH190). Areas of Allen west, Aubrey, Celina, The Colony, Frisco, Little Elm, McKinney west, Plano west and Prosper which fall within these guidelines.
